Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip Recipe

Buffalo Chicken Dip is a staple in our house and probably made once a week. My husband is a big fan of anything buffalo flavored. I love making buffalo chicken dip in the crockpot because it's one of those quick and easy toss it and forget it meals that can be whipped up in 2 hours. If you're in a pinch, you can easily skip the crockpot and bake your buff dip in the oven for 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees Fahrenheit (or 180 degrees Celsius in a fan oven).

I went to Costco yesterday and grabbed one of their rotisserie chickens that I cut up and shredded for this recipe (it makes it 10x easier). However, if you don't have a rotisserie chicken available, you can always use two large cans of canned chicken (drained) or you can boil and shred your chicken for the buffalo chicken dip.

If it aint broke, don't fix it; and I pretty much follow the recipe on the back of the jar of Franks Buffalo Sauce, except I don't include blue cheese and I add seasonings and chopped celery to my recipe. If you don't have fresh celery on hand, using celery seed works too and adds a nice flavor! I personally like adding celery to my recipe because it gives the dip a nice crunch.

Aside from those small tweaks, I follow the recipe on the bottle and throw all my ingredients into the crock pot to cook on low for about two hours, occasionally stirring.

As always, if you make this recipe, please leave a comment or review. Enjoy!
