Fall is one of the best times of year, in my humble opinion. What's not to love about fall fashion? I've outlined six trends that I love this year for Fall. Honestly, these styles are timeless and something to incorporate each season into your wardrobe.
1. Blazers
Any outfit can be elevated by adding a blazer. Seriously, you can dress up jeans just by throwing on a blazer! They're perfect for work, going out, literally any reason to wear a blazer is a good one in my book. I personally love a good plaid blazer, but solid colors are great too! I've been enjoying blazers from Target, Abercrombie and Zara. Sometimes Zara and Abercrombie can be a little pricey, but it's worth it because the quality is amazing and the blazer will last you for a long time.
2. Leather
Faux leather anything is perfect this time of year. Every year, leather returns for fall and winter and it's such a timeless closet staple. Amazon and Walmart have great affordable faux leather skirts that I can't wait to wear! Yesterday, I bought a brown leather skirt from Walmart for less than $15! Click here to see the skirt I bought.
3. Shoulder Bags
A shoulder bag ties an outfit together and it's a simple accessory to embellish a look. I would love to get the YSL hobo bag, but I do not have $2,000+ to spend on a purse (sadly). However, I've found great options for less that look very similar! Charles Keith and Polene have great options that are good quality and much more affordable. I recently purchased the Charlot bag in black from Charles Keith and I can't wait for it to arrive!!
4. Loafers To be honest, loafers remind me of private school uniforms, but darn it they are cute! Loafers are like an elevated sperry, that's fashionable. They are perfect for work - to wear with denim or trousers. I've been loving these tan loafers from Target! I wish that they offered them in black because I would totally buy them.
5. Uggs Call me basic, but I love Uggs, especially the ultra mini ones. Uggs are a great boot to slip on and go - they're easy and sooo comfortable. However, if you don't want to spend $100+, check out these Amazon dupes by Cushionaire. They are about $50 and look just like the Ugg Ultra Mini's! They even come in different colors. :)
6. Heeled Boots Does this trend need any explanation? Heeled boots in the fall and winter are such a classic. You can wear them with dresses, skirts, pants, and more. My favorite way to style heeled boots are with black or nude tights paired with a skirt or dress... it's the chef's kiss of outfits. Boots that are leather or faux leather with crocodile embossing are also super trendy right now and go with everything! I bought my boots from Shein to test them out and I have to say that I love them! I would like to invest in a similar, more expensive pair of boots that will last me for years to come.
